Here are a few updates and news items about the Bowls Club.
Coaching and Tactics – Sunday, 22nd June
From 10am to midday on Sunday, 22nd June, Ian will be running a session on tactics and how to read and develop a head. The session is intended for any level of bowler. Please come along if you are interested in gaining more insight in how to read and develop a head. We are hoping to have the Bar open from 12 noon. To give us an idea of numbers, a registration sheet will be available on the outside noticeboard from tomorrow, Tuesday, 10th June. However, please feel free to join us even if you haven’t been able to sign up.
WNT
As our membership is growing and more people are playing in the WNT, we are having problems identifying players with the same first name.
Therefore, please can all players ensure that they put their full name on the scorecards.Taster Evening – Tuesday, 5th August
On the evening of the 5th of August, we have a significant number of people attending the Club for a bowls’ taster session. We hope to have a BBQ and, of course, the bar will be open. You may be asked to help with the evening but if not please come along and we can, hopefully, turn it into quite a social event.
Please note, there will be no rinks available for roll ups or competitions that evening.Club Competitions
A gentle reminder to everyone who has entered the Club Competitions that all games must be played by the set date. This will ensure the competitions run smoothly and no-one is disqualified.Regards
