Here are a few updates and news items about the Bowls Club.
Brian Whatling Memorial Trophy, 10th August
This competition will take place on Sunday 10th August. The registration sheet will be on the noticeboard this week. There is a limit of 24 entrants so make sure you sign the sheet as soon as possible.Bullen Cup, 11th June
The next round of the Bullen cup will be played at Thorndon on the evening of 11th June. The Cup match will take up 4 rinks with the 2 remaining rinks available for the WNT. Please note that there will be no spare rinks available for individual competitions or roll up on that eveningPosters on Noticeboard
As secretary, I receive several posters about trips, charity events and various president’s days that are taking place in our area. Rather than bombard you all with emails every time I receive one, these are placed on the main noticeboard.Payments by BACS
Thank you to everyone who makes payments to the Club directly to the bank through the BACS system and internet banking. To make life much simpler for our treasurer, please could you make one payment or each item you are sending money for. Please also include a description in the reference box.
