Dear Members,
We are now well into March and the bowls season will soon be starting again. We wanted to give you some important dates and information to ensure that the season gets off to a good start.

Subscriptions.
As agreed at the AGM, subscriptions are due by the 1st April 2026. We have kept the costs the same as last year which are as follows:

Full Member – £45
Junior (under 18) – £15
Social Member – £10

Payment is preferred by BACS if possible.

If you are paying by cash or cheque place your subs in a payment envelope, available on the shelf by the kitchen. Please hand envelopes to Sue Chapman or post through the letterbox in the bar door. This process makes it easier for us to record who has paid

Registration Evening.
Registration evening will take place on Friday, 27th March from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. Please try and attend as membership renewal letters will be available to complete and sign. The 2026 Club handbook will be distributed and the entry form for the Club Competitions will also be on the Club noticeboard.

Green opens and Rose Bowl.
The Green will open on Sunday, 19th April when we will be holding the Rose Bowl starting at 1.00pm with registration at 12.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come and play, just turn up and enjoy the first afternoon of the season.

Taster Mornings.
We are holding “Taster Mornings” on the first four Saturdays in May from 10.00pm to 12.00pm.
The purpose of these mornings is to encourage people to come along and try their hand at bowls in a friendly atmosphere. Hopefully, some of the people attending will decide to join us and become members.
Please think of any family, friends or neighbours that you can bring along. Whilst we have a healthy membership, we need to encourage new members to join so we maintain our numbers.
