Good Afternoon All
Carpet Bowls
A reminder that Basil starts this seasons Carpet Bowls campaign at 6.30pm on Monday 6 October at The Village Hall Thorndon.
Rink fees remain at £3.00 with a cuppa & biscuits included.
Our Carpet Bowls is proving to be a good fund raiser and keeping us ‘in-touch’ with each other during the longer evenings.
Please come along and support our Club whenever you can.Quiz Night
On Friday 17 October at 7pm we have our Autumn Quiz Night planned.
At the time of writing we are only 2½ weeks away and only have 6 members entered with 15 guests also coming along.
That’s not enough to run the evening, so this is a ‘call-out’ for members to support the event. Please make every effort to come along and enjoy a social evening.
Over recent years our Quiz Night has been the source of valuable funds for our Club.
Entry is £10 per person and includes a ploughman’s style meal.
